Online Dish: In the Mood? Sex Toy Delivery Service Satisfies Your Hunger Pains

Forget late night pizza delivery. If you're really hungry and in the mood for something "good" how about a sex toy delivery service?!

New Yorkers can now get dildos, and other play toys delivered to their doorstep, as spontaneously as if they were ordering wings. Damn Yankees.

Adult store Babeland has teamed up with a courier company that promises to deliver sex toys, by bike, within an hour.

The saucy door-to-door service was the result of customer demand.

"This is New York City. You can get anything delivered," Pamela Doan of Babeland told the Brooklyn Paper.

"These customers know exactly what they want," she said.

The old fashioned plug in vibrator Hitachi Magic Wand is the most popular home delivery- probably because people know what they are getting, Doan said.

Single people use the delivery store to replace a toy, while couples use the service mainly for condoms and lubricant.

"We've had people call and say, "We desperately need it here within the hour," said Steph, a Babeland employee. "It's the gift that keeps on giving."

Once customers find the products they want online, they call the store whereupon a receptionist allocates the delivery to a bike messenger company, who brings the 'discreet-looking box' to any address in Brooklyn.

Hotels get the majority of the action when it comes to delivery.

The home service is very popular on holiday weekends. The $30 delivery service is complimentary on Valentine's Day.

Yankees aren't the only ones getting pleasure delivered to their doorsteps. Entrepreneur Anthony Mikrut has been bike-delivering sex toys to the doorsteps of Chicago as The Kinky Llama since 2007.
