Get excited the big game is almost here, Super Bowl 46 where the Giants and Patriots fight for the ring. Fellas tend to get really into the game and all of the hoopla.
But, most of you are more concerned with missing a play, or having your next beer. In the meantime you forget about your friend "down there" Paul. Your fave blonde is warning you beware of the danger of the Super Bowl Bladder Infection.
According to Methodist Hospital, here in Houston, some guys literally forget to take a potty break during the game, even half time.
Methodist Hospital's Dr. Jeff Kalina spells out the danger in holding it in to our friends over at the Houston Press:
"During most sporting events people will get up and use the restroom during the commercials and not have any problem. However, most of the time the commercials are the best part of the Super Bowl, so we have seen people who have to come in and have a catheter put in to relieve themselves."
You've got to be kidding me?! Afterall, they don't want to miss the highly anticipated commercials.
Methodist goes on to tell the Houston Press "people who drink too much and fail to get up and go to the bathroom can also develop a problem called urinary retention, a condition where the bladder gets so full that the muscles are not strong enough to generate a stream."
So don't drink and drive and don't drink and not release!
Is the Super Bowl worth the risk of a bladder infection?
