Sean Dowling, Producer/Host

Sean Dowling began his broadcasting career in a large market as an on-­air reporter where he wrote, shot and edited his own stories. Sean joined Eye Opener in October 2010 as an on-­air correspondent and producer, covering all things entertainment, while producing his own package reports.

Although he spends most of his days covering celebrity trends, he still gets starstruck when he gets to meet the entertainers on set.

 

    

Mia Gradney

Mia Gradney is an Emmy Award-winning journalist & TV personality. A long-time news anchor, she's covered everything from hard-hitting hurricanes to Hollywood red carpet premieres.

When she's not at the news desk, Mia's at the movies. She's always ready to share with viewers a Mia must-see, a Mia maybe, or just a mess! She also writes fashion and beauty articles for Health & Fitness Sports Magazine and volunteers her time to "Dress for Success" and "The Children's Art Project" at M.D. Anderson Hospital.

 

    

Ellen Fox, Writer/Host

Ellen Fox is a writer, performer and TV presenter. She was born in Delaware, raised in Princeton Junction, New Jersey and attended Rutgers University.

After college, she became a print journalist in Chicago, where she also studied improv comedy and acting.

From 2009-­2011, she hosted "The Rotten Tomatoes Show", a satirical movie review show. She joined Eye Opener in October 2011.

 

    

Danielle Vollmar, Host

Danielle Vollmar joined the show in November 2011 as one of the hosts. She is also a fill-in meteorologist at KDAF/CW33 in Dallas. She is excited about the opportunity to host a nationally syndicated morning show!

Previously, she worked at FOX25 in Oklahoma City first as the weekend meteorologist and then was promoted to morning anchor and reporter. She started her career as the mid-day meteorologist at WBOC-TV in Salisbury, MD.

She graduated from Cornell University with a degree in atmospheric science and a minor in communications. Originally from Philadelphia, she is a huge Philly sports fan. When not at work, she cheers on the Eagles and Phillies, but also the OKC Thunder. In addition, she enjoys volunteering for many organizations like the Junior League and coaching girls' lacrosse. When not working or volunteering, you may see Danielle out literally running around. She has completed 4 half marathons and intends to do many more.
