Get a life -- come on "occupy movement"! -- in Austin, you really don't have a choice!
Austin police cleared out city hall overnight, leaving occupiers to find a "new home”, yea.
There were lots of arrests.
Ummm.
A tent of dreams?! Really?
This is what cops in the nation's capital are dealing with -- McPherson Square is looking interesting!!
No one was kicked out. But park police checked to make sure the "campers" were keeping the peace.
And in case you're wondering about the protesters "rights", well a federal judge ruled earlier this week that living in a public park as a means of protest, is not protected by the first amendment!
Austin city officials say they're forking out 100-thousand dollars every week, just to pay for security.
Now that ain't cheap!
I don't know. Maybe send a letter to city hall with your "occupy" ideas?
It sure would be a lot easier than parking your "butt" in a public place where no one's listening anyway!
