The sports gossip site Deadspin published an interview Thursday detailing an alleged affair between Cashman and a woman referred to as 'Lou'. She claimed that Cashman would give her game tickets and sleep at her apartment a couple times a week. They also published photos of a toothbrush and a pair of pajama bottoms Lou claimed were Cashman's. She even provided an audio recording of a message she said Cashman left her, "Hey Lou, it's Brian Cashman," a male voice says, "Hope you're doing well."
According to Lou, who the NY Daily News reported is really Louise Neathway, she broke off the relationship with Cashman after he refused to legally separate from his wife of 16 years, Mary. "I'm finished with him destroying my life and his family," she told Deadspin.
